Tribunal rules 'contract bridge' not sport

The First Tier Tribunal (FTT) has held that contract bridge is a game requiring predominantly mental skills and not therefore a 'sport' for the purposes of the VAT exemption (The English Bridge Union Ltd [2014] UKFTT 181 (TC)).
